Hiking with Children
It's never too early to start hiking with children and they usually love to walk - and run - in nature. In fact, yesterday when the grandparents took their four grandkids up to Gvendarskál they would run up ahead and be eager to get to the top. We also stopped every now and then to look at the rock formations and flowers and birds. And of course there needs to be some sort of treat along the way to keep up the energy! Chocolate covered raisins are a very popular snack to take on walks in Iceland.
